Patch Notes – v0.4.8
This update introduces a brand-new Map system, control updates, audio tuning, and a round of world fixes.
New & Expanded Content
- New Map system: A full-screen map now displays and updates new locations as you explore. Toggle the map on/off with M. Expect ongoing improvements in future updates.
- Objective markers: Use N to show/hide objective markers on your in-game HUD.
Systems & Balance
- Controls updated: Inputs updated to support the new Map system and marker visibility changes (N now controls markers; M opens the Map).
- Audio tuning – Hoverbike: Adjusted engine sound levels for better mix and moment-to-moment clarity.
Fixes
- World placement pass: Repositioned various items to better fit their areas and resolved several floating objects.
- Building/scenery alignment: Fixed incorrect placement for some buildings and a few scenery elements.
- Navigation mesh rebuilds: Rebuilt navmesh in select regions to account for recent environment changes.
- Stability & polish: Minor tweaks and optimizations alongside the new systems.
