This update focuses on quest reliability, world density/visuals, and loot flow.
New & Expanded Content
- Outposts & NPCs: Added several new outposts and a handful of new NPCs within them.
- Vegetation pass: Reworked and improved vegetation, grass, and terrain textures. Substantially increased foliage across the map, plus additional trees and a new tree variant.
Systems & Balance
- Loot rework (chests): Chest loot tables have been adjusted. Interacting with a chest now spawns items on the ground instead of sending them directly to your inventory.
- Graphics-based foliage: Vegetation density now scales with your selected GFX setting.
Fixes
- Objective markers & quests: Fixed an issue where quests wouldn’t register completion if objective markers were toggled off in the UI. Quests now complete correctly even with markers hidden.
- NPC placement: Moved a number of NPCs that were stuck in terrain in several key areas.
- Inventory icon cache: Fixed an issue that could load old item icons when collecting from some chests. (Note: applies to future chests, not ones already opened.)
- World polish: Addressed various small tweaks and changes for stability and presentation.
